My interests lie in the politics of representation, image making and the application of paint, primarily focusing on women, the female and femininity. My ideas are formed and come as a result of continuing development, interrogation and assessment of the modern female and responds to a frame of reference that encompasses female and modernity - this is my context. My images are constructed from art history, women's gossip and fashion magazines, modern feminist literature and my own observations.
